lay Like a Legend
The second-generation Cynergy SVB Series Cues have been completely reimagined and refined, and are now available. These cues were personally designed and developed by Hall of Fame member Shane Van Boening, performing even better than they look.
Key updates to the series include a repositioned A-joint, Clear-Tec® epoxy coating, and a seamless, full-textured rock leather wrap extending to the butt cap. The precisely cut rings inlaid with genuine abalone, and the shortened ten-point crown design are inspired by the undisputed king of American pool—appropriately paying tribute to this legendary American pool champion.
Each cue is equipped with the world-renowned Cynergy shaft, “Player’s Choice,” and comes with a Duo Extension-ready bumper and the advanced Acueweight Gen II adjustment system. The second-generation design of the SVB Series is intended to continue creating history, just like the legendary "South Dakota Kid" himself.
Key Features:
- 10-point design with synthetic abalone
- Silver precision-cut rings inlaid with genuine abalone
- A+ grade Canadian maple core, kiln-dried
- Clear-Tec® epoxy surface treatment
- Genuine rock leather full-grain wrap
- Cuetec Acueweight second generation
- Duo extension ready bumper

CYNERGY CARE
Elevating the Connection Between Player and Equipment
Cuetec’s Cynergy Carbon Composite Shafts are made from multiple layers of resin-impregnated military-grade unidirectional carbon fiber. Each fiber has a diameter of 7 microns (0.007mm), about one-twelfth the thickness of human hair. The orientation of the carbon fibers is critical for achieving optimal durability, strength, and performance. During the curing process, these fibers work in concert in specific directions, ensuring zero net deflection. The result is a perfectly straight and extremely durable shaft.

"I’m really excited about the second-generation series. Like every player's game, it's an evolution.
From the new A-joint location to the leather wrap and Clear-Tec® epoxy resin finish, all the tweaks create an even better playing experience."

Cuetec’s Cynergy carbon composite shafts are made from multiple layers of resin-impregnated, military-grade unidirectional carbon fiber. Each fiber has a diameter of 7 microns (0.007 mm), about one-twelfth the thickness of human hair. The orientation of the fibers is key to achieving optimal durability, strength, and performance. During curing, these fibers align to ensure zero deflection, resulting in a perfectly straight and strong shaft.
Polyurethane Foam Core
The core of each Cynergy carbon composite shaft is its high-density polyurethane foam core. This Cuetec proprietary polyurethane core adds stability to the shaft, allows for the predetermined elasticity, and creates a sound closer to wood upon contact, providing a stronger feel and feedback.
Flyweight Front-End Construction
Less weight means less deflection. With the ultra-strong carbon composite structure, each Cynergy shaft adopts Cuetec’s flyweight front-end construction. This structure causes the Cynergy polyurethane foam to stop 5 inches below the tip, forming a smaller, rigid cavity, which results in less flex during contact.
Precision-Tuned Taper
Developed to provide the most comfortable playing experience, each Cuetec Cynergy shaft is equipped with a unique performance-guided taper. Both Cynergy 12.5mm and 11.8mm shafts feature an ultra-straight taper, with almost no rise—enabling smoother and more precise shots, regardless of the player’s cue length.
Thin White Sighting Ferrule
Each Cynergy shaft features a lightweight, thin white sighting ferrule that is only 0.25 inches long. This not only helps with aiming contrast and depth perception but also provides a more familiar and stable platform for tip maintenance and replacement during the shaft’s lifespan.
Tiger® Sniper Tip
Chosen for its high performance and neutral hit properties, each Cynergy cue is equipped with a Sniper tip. Each Sniper tip undergoes over a year of natural curing, is carefully polished, and uses a unique vacuum lamination process to ensure the elimination of air between the ten layers of leather.
